· The first scientific conference of the Department of Economics and Public Finance entitled (Contemporary Economic Problems at the Local, Regional and International Levels) The aim of the conference is to shed light on the contemporary Egyptian economic problems, due to the proliferation of economic crises day after day, which are sweeping countries around the world, including Egypt, from a stifling financial crisis, budget deficit, economic recession, and the decline in foreign exchange reserves to the decline in the value of the local currency (the pound), and high inflation rates, especially at a time when Egyptians are waiting for the end of the economic reform process and the International Monetary Fund program, they found themselves facing new economic problems with darker features, without radical solutions looming on the horizon, and from here came the idea of the conference, to analyze and find solutions to some general economic problems which was held at University Hotel - Sadat City - Egypt - Aug 25, 2024.
